1. What this policy covers
This Cookie Policy explains how IzzyOps uses cookies and similar technologies on our marketing website (izzyops.com) and customer dashboards. It complements our Privacy Policy.
By "cookies" we mean small text files stored on your device, plus comparable tracking technologies (pixels, web beacons, localStorage). They help websites remember you, work properly, and measure performance.
2. The cookies we use
We group cookies into four categories. You can accept or reject non-essential categories via the banner shown on your first visit and from the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
- Strictly necessary. Required for the site to work — authentication, security, session, CSRF protection. Cannot be switched off.
- Functional. Remember preferences (region, language, theme). Improve your experience but not strictly required.
- Analytics. Help us understand which pages people visit and where they get stuck. We use a privacy-friendly analytics provider with IP-truncation and no cross-site tracking.
- Marketing. Used to measure the performance of our ads on LinkedIn, Google, and Meta. Disabled by default; only set if you accept the marketing category.
3. Specific cookies
The current list:
- izzy_session — strictly necessary, session, first-party. Holds your authentication state on the dashboard.
- izzy_csrf — strictly necessary, session, first-party. Protects against CSRF attacks.
- izzy_consent — strictly necessary, 6 months, first-party. Stores your cookie preferences.
- izzy_prefs — functional, 12 months, first-party. Region, language, theme.
- _pa_* — analytics, 12 months, first-party (privacy-friendly analytics — no cross-site tracking).
- li_oatml — marketing, 30 days, third-party (LinkedIn Insight Tag). Only set if marketing accepted.
- _gcl_au — marketing, 90 days, third-party (Google Ads conversion). Only set if marketing accepted.
- _fbp — marketing, 90 days, third-party (Meta Pixel). Only set if marketing accepted.
4. Your choices
You can manage cookie preferences at any time:
- Click Cookie settings to revisit the banner.
- Most browsers let you block or delete cookies via the settings menu — note that strictly necessary cookies cannot be blocked without breaking the dashboard.
- For EEA/UK visitors, we honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal.
- For California residents, this site honours opt-out preference signals as required by CPRA.
5. Do Not Track
The DNT specification was never standardised. We do not respond to DNT headers, but we do honour Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals for visitors in jurisdictions where GPC has legal effect.
6. Changes
We may update this policy as the cookies we use change. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes prompt a renewed consent banner.
